About Us

About the band

Julie July Band was formed in 2015, building a reputation on its reinterpretations and arrangements of the works of singer-songwriter Sandy Denny.

Throughout the years, this quintessentially British folk rock band has performed in hundreds of venues around the UK and Europe, accumulating an army of admirers on their travels.

Following their early success, Julie July Band has moved on to create their own original folk-rock tracks. Highly praised for their beautiful vocals, honest lyrics and catchy melodies, their music draws inspiration from Sandy Denny’s greatest hits and the wider folk, rock and blues movements of the 60s and 70s.
